This set of three ribbed zinc planters are ideal for herbs and billowing container plants – and so much nicer than hanging baskets in my view.

Fill them with your favourite edible and low growing ornamental plants on your doorstep, terrace or balcony and they’ll enhance your everyday. I have one filled with creeping prostrate oregano, one with wheeping rosemary and the largest with a mix of French tarragon and flat-leaved parsley which I pick by the handful almost every day.
