A semi-pendant or strap-leaf species of Anthurium known for its stunning red, pink, or white spathes. It has short stems and close internodes, leaf blades are narrowly elliptic and erect. This species is renowned for producing a full spadix of bright red berries without pollination, known as being ‘apomiptic’.

Native to: South America

Growth Habit: Epiphyte

Water: Water when top 3cm of substrate is dry

Light: Bright indirect light

Humidity: Regular humidity levels of around 70%

We’ll ship the seeds in the berries picked freshly. Each berry normally has 2 seeds. You’ll need to clean the seeds of the berries and sow them onto sphagnum moss in a sealed bag until germination.

Please note: Seeds are fragile and as high-value plants, we recommend you only purchase if you are comfortable raising Anthurium from seed.
