Calathea Makoyana

Calathea Makoyana Care & Information Add a masterpiece of nature to your indoor sanctuary with the Calathea Makoyana. Aptly named the Peacock Plant, its pale green leaves are brushed with dark green feathery blotches that look just like a peacock’s tail. Turn the leaf over, and youll find the same pattern in a rich, surprising burgundy.

As a member of the “Prayer Plant” family, the Makoyana is alive with movementits leaves lay flat during the day to catch the light and fold up vertically at night like hands in prayer. This beauty thrives in humidity and prefers filtered, bright indirect light to keep its intricate patterns sharp.

• Pet Safety: Good news! The Calathea Makoyana is non-toxic and completely safe for cats and dogs.

• Each plant is unique; size and shape fluctuate by season so all measurements are shown as a range.

• Medium plants measure between 25cm – 35cm tall from the soil line to the top of the foliage.

• Medium plant arrives in a 140mm nursery grow pot. If you select a decorative pot, your plant will arrive potted inside and ready to display.
