Cissus striata, the Miniature Grape Ivy, is a delicate trailing climber with dainty five-lobed leaves on wiry red stems. Fast and graceful, it cascades beautifully from a shelf or scrambles up a small support.

Origins
Cissus striata is native to South America, including Chile and southern Brazil, where it grows as a climbing vine in cool, humid forest.

Soil and Substrate
Our Simply Houseplant Potting Mix is a peat-free, free-draining blend well suited to leafy climbing foliage.

Please note: Often referred to sugar grape, this plant produces tiny beads of an (inedible) sugary substance on the foliage. This is completely harmless and can either be brushed or washed off.
