As the name suggests, its leaves exhibit a red hue, which can intensify under the right conditions. This makes a striking contrast with the typical green of many other aquarium plants.

Lighting: Cryptocoryne undulata can tolerate a wide range of lighting conditions, from low to moderate. However, brighter light may encourage more vibrant coloration.
Water Parameters: It prefers a pH range of 6.0 to 8.0 and a temperature between 72-82F (22-28C).
Substrate: A nutrient-rich substrate is beneficial for its growth. Root tabs can be added to provide essential nutrients.
CO2: CO2 supplementation is not required, but it can promote faster growth.
Propagation: It propagates through runners, producing new plantlets that emerge from the base of the mother plant.
