Homalomena rubescens aurea variegatedis a rare variegated form of Homalomena rubescens valued for its broad, glossy foliage and warm coloration. The leaves are heart-shaped with a rich green base, overlaid with aurea variegation in yellow to golden tones caused by reduced chlorophyll. Variegation appears as marbling or sectoral patches and contrasts strongly with the species naturally thick, smooth leaf texture. This plant has a compact, self-heading growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, stable conditions.
