I am SUPER excited about introducing everyone to Spigarello. Classified as both a broccoli and a kale, this has narrow, elegant curly leaves which you can eat as a green all through the winter without apparently compromising the plant, and then in spring, tight, tasty flower buds like purple-sprouting broccoli. These develop further into edible flowers which look and taste delicious and the bees feast away on their nectar and pollen-rich flowers. Its a four-in-one-plant and has in my view got to be grown.
