Maranta Leuconeura Variegata

Marantas have unusual foliage. This variety has paper-thin leaves marbled with white and speckled with pink. To thrive, it requires a bright room and a humid environment. It does very well in a hanging pot. We love it for the movement of its leaves throughout the day. We recommend watering with demineralized water, which can be purchased at the pharmacy, or with rainwater. Melted snow works very well! Marantas do not tolerate the excess minerals found in tap water very well. This excess can cause root burns and damage the foliage.

Non-toxic to animals.
