National Wooden Dummy Board

The National Wooden Dummy Boards are designed for use with British National Hives, providing a practical solution for maintaining proper spacing and hive efficiency.

Product Overview

Dummy boards are used to close gaps within the super when the frames dont fit perfectly, helping to reduce heat loss and prevent the build-up of brace comb along the hive walls. By maintaining a snug internal layout, dummy boards support a more stable hive temperature and cleaner comb structure.

When conducting inspections, removing the dummy board first creates extra working space inside the hive, making it easier to handle and examine the remaining frames without disturbing your colony.

Key Features

Suitable for British National Supers / Brood boxes
Helps retain heat and reduce unwanted comb building
Provides extra room during inspections
Constructed from durable, high-quality wood for longevity
