Va Va Violet Angel Wings: Caladium – 6 inch pot

Add asplash of red to your garden with ‘Va Va Violet’ Caladiums! These tropical beauties love the sun, so they’re perfect for making a statement in your home or patio space.

Caring for Caladium plants involves providing them with the right growing conditions and regular maintenance. Caladiums thrive in warm, humid environments and prefer bright, indirect light or partial shade. Direct sunlight can scorch their delicate foliage. Plant them in well-draining soil that retains moisture but doesn’t become waterlogged. Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Mist the leaves regularly or place the plant near a humidifier to provide the high humidity they require. Fertilize the plant every 4-6 weeks during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to maintain a neat appearance. In cooler climates, caladiums can be grown as houseplants or dug up and stored indoors during the winter. With proper care, your caladiums will display their vibrant and ornamental heart-shaped leaves, adding a splash of color and tropical flair to your indoor or outdoor space.
