White velvet Tradescantia (Tradescantia sillamontana) – 5cm Pot

White velvet Tradescantia (Tradescantia sillamontana) is a perennial with olive to grey-green oval leaves that have a dense, silver-white, woolly covering. Its bright purple-pink flowers bloom in clusters for about a month during the summer.

This White Velvet Tradescantia, also known as Tradescantia sillamontana, has unique soft silver leaves that are densely covered in silver-white, woolly hairs, giving it a cobweb-like appearance. During winter, the foliage dies down and should be cut off and removed in the spring to make way for new growth. The plant readily produces striking purple flowers and should be protected from frost.
